Emily K. Stone

Emily is a local author who writes under the pen name Kaye Stone. Her book SAPPHIRE RAIN shines light on personal experiences of abuse, divorce, and clairvoyance. The inspirational narrative is intended to help and inspire others to discover deep self-healing and discovery.

Prior to stepping into a higher calling, Emily worked a Certified Postpartum Doula through her business The Momma Hop, LLC. Currently, she works full time as an Executive Assistant for two Family Offices while simultaneously operating Kaye Stone, LLC.

In her spare time, you will find her on the dance floor at local events hosted by Louisville Salsa Underground, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Emily is excited to start writing her second manuscript which will feature her journey to finding love. Spoiler alert—it doesn’t end they way you think it will!

She also has plans to share her wisdom from her ten years as the Momma Hop with written projects that will include how to survive postpartum. As well as children’s books that teach acceptance, love and empathy. One of her treasured long-term goals is to create a non-profit organization to give back to the community and provide resources to individuals who have experienced a similar plight.

Emily is thrilled to be a part of Feed My Neighbor’s fundraising efforts and has enjoyed volunteering for the kitchen when time allows. In getting to know the community she has a heightened awareness in a value we can sometimes take for granted—the ability to share a meal in community.

Her dance is dedicated to both of her children with the message, “You are the author of your own story and have the power to create the life you deserve. All you have to do is choose—YOU.”  Emily’s children are living proof of the rays of light that follow a heavy rain storm.

Always remember: in times of heartache and pain, follow your rainbow.
