Eliza Donahue

Dance has shaped my life for as long as I can remember. I spent 10 years dancing professionally, performing, teaching, and pouring everything I had into the art form I loved. Like many dancers, though, I eventually experienced burnout — stepping away from dance left a space I didn't quite know how to fill.

This journey back to the dance floor is about rediscovering that joy. Competing in Let's Dance Louisville isn't just a comeback, it's a reminder of why I fell in love with dance in the first place.

Even more meaningful is the cause we're dancing for. I'm honored to raise funds for Feed My Neighbor and Sandefur Dining Hall, an organization that provides daily meals to those experiencing homelessness or a tough time. Knowing that every step, spin, and vote helps feed someone in need makes this experience incredibly special to me.

When I'm not dancing, I work at Angel's Envy Distillery where hospitality, storytelling, and community are at the heart of what we do — values I deeply believe in, both on and off the dance floor.

Your support means more than just helping me compete, it helps nourish our community, uplift an essential cause, and reminds me that dance can be powerful, healing, and purposeful. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
