Janet Tyre

Janet Tyre brings a wide variety of background experiences to the playing field. Among one of her earliest extracurricular activities was participating in a junior high school group called The Goodtime Singers. They performed song and dance routines to New York, New York and many other broadway hits in Hardin County, KY. While that journey occurred more than a few years in the past it was one of her most favored memories of being on stage. In 2024 Janet returned to the stage and competed in the first ever Mrs. Bullitt County and proudly took home 2nd runner up.

Janet is more currently known for orchestrating the operations of Louisville’s very own Crowne Plaza Hotel, a 588 room property and an asset in the ALJSCO portfolio which also includes the Embassy Suites Downtown and The Galt House Hotel.

Janet is the mom of three wonderful girls, and step mom to 3 additional girls, and between them there is a total of 12 grandchildren which she enjoys spoiling at every opportunity. Adding to the mix is her very supportive and fabulous husband of 13 years, plus 10 before they married.

Janet is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology. In her spare time she enjoys researching her family ancestry, taking trips to the beach, fishing, and gardening.
