Matt Jamie

Local entrepreneur, Matt Jamie, is the founder and owner of Bourbon Barrel Foods. Matt started Bourbon Barrel Foods in 2006 in his basement and has guided the company's growth into a global presence with a range of more than 150 products and supporting a team of 50 employees.

When not creating products for Bourbon Barrel Foods he stays busy with a new found passion for abstract painting, playing tennis year round, frequent traveling, balanced visits to the gym and yoga as well as renovating his home in historic Crescent Hill.

Matt is excited to learn how to dance this year. He thrives on challenging himself and exploring new endeavors. He’s admittedly recognizable but struggles to embrace the “celebrity” label. When asked to be a contestant Matt replied, “I smiled and didn’t hesitate to say yes!”
