Mike Gandolfo is a lifelong Louisvillian who loves everything there is about this community. Mike is such a good dancer that he swept his high school prom date off her feet and down the aisle. Together Chrissy and Mike have two kids, 3 dogs, and own/operate RE Solutions - a boutique real estate brokerage with offices in Louisville and Danville, KY. Their company has won the LEO Reader's Choice Award for Best Real Estate Agency and was a finalist for a GLI INCredible award for small business of the year. Mike was also named to Louisville Business First's prestigious Forty Under 40 list.
Mike approaches his business with the mindset and heart of a coach. He was a local basketball coach at all levels, including helping the Spalding University Women's Basketball team win a national championship as an assistant coach. After that, Mike was the recruiting coordinator for the Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic where he helped bring 22 future NBA draft picks to Louisville for this all-star event.
Mike is still involved with the Kentucky Derby Festival serving on their executive board of directors. He is also a member of the parish council at St. Leonard Catholic Church.
Although he doesn't coach basketball anymore, Mike fills his leisure time hosting one of the largest horse racing podcasts in the world - "The Horse Racing Happy Hour." The Happy Hour crew does big race coverage locally for ESPN 680. You can also hear Mike on the ESPN Louisville airwaves as a co-host of the call-in show immediately following Kentucky football and basketball games.
Mike is excited to show off his moves and help a great cause! Thank you for your support by donating and/or buying a ticket!
