Mike Rutherford

A lifelong Louisvillian, Mike Rutherford has covered all things Louisville Cardinals sports on his website, CardChronicle.com, for nearly 20 years. Rutherford has also been a mainstay on local sports radio for over a decade. He currently hosts "The Mike Rutherford Show" every afternoon on Big X Sports Radio.

Rutherford has been named a "Best of Louisville" award recipient 23 times, winning for categories like "Best Website," "Best Blog," "Best Twitter" and "Best Male Radio Host."

A graduate of Trinity High School and Bellarmine University, Rutherford currently resides in Louisville with his wife, Mary, and their two children – Virginia, age 6, and John, age 4.

In his spare time, Rutherford enjoys sending Instagram reels to his wife that she thinks are 25% as funny as he does.
